British Open Week: Use less loft around the green

Instead of picking the 60 degree wedge out of the bag think “sensible short game” when around the greens especially on a raised green like this one at Golden Hills Golf & Turf.

The aim of the game is to get the ball into the hole in as few a shots as possible so choosing a 6iron, 3 wood or even your putter is normally the most sensible shot for amateur players.
